Overview:
The Market Development Team is responsible for identifying and managing business opportunities in China. As an integral part of this team, the role of Core Pharmaceutical Market Development Manager is to be responsible to work out China Core Pharmaceutical marketing strategy from understanding of regulatory and industry trend, market development and expansion, manage key projects to fulfill pharmaceutical business target. And working with sales team on key account management and business development.
Job will also include general marketing activities, new product positioning, sales tool preparation and updates, market intelligence, leading events and co-ordinate relevant internal functions for customer experience excellence.
The Market Development Team is responsible for identifying and managing business opportunities in China. From marketing strategy, planning to program execution. You will be required to manage the complete product portfolio and solutions for core pharmaceutical market, from discovery, development to manufacturing and QC, covering small molecular pharmaceuticals, TCM and Institute of Food and Drug Control.
Responsibilities:
- Customer and Market Insight:
Understand regulatory trends and its impact for analytical instrument business. Work out strategic plan on market development of core pharmaceutical business, including small molecule pharmaceuticals, TCM and Institute of Drug Control.
Solicit and consolidate input from key customers and field staffs within each region for keen understanding of China pharmaceutical market. Including customer needs, current and new market opportunities, customer’s purchasing criteria and process.
Provide market information, where required, to support the revenue planning, monthly forecast processes, and divisional quarterly reviews.
Monthly review the execution of marketing projects, including business, opportunities, business forecast and marketing events analysis.
- Strategic and Tactical Planning:
Work with the regional operations to develop strategic s and drive the strategy execution within China.
Work out e-marketing programs for core pharmaceutical market including messaging, preferred advertising medium and appropriate customer channels.
- Marketing Program Execution:
Planning and execution of marketing communications/promotions including both online and off-line activities, webinars and collateral, product bundles, etc.
Monthly sales tool update.
Qualifications:
- Consistently maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
- Experience & knowledge in pharmaceutical industry, including regulation, QC, analytics or TCM.
- Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely orally and in writing.
- Able to work effectively across functional groups or geographies to meet aggressive schedules.
- Good project management capability
- Over 5 years experience in pharmaceutical industry. Sales or marketing experiences are preferred.
