Overview:
MCON is looking for a System Engineer to support and administer the operations of our infrastructure and hosting environment. You will have strong technical skills with a background in Server administration Windows/Linux and experience in development, particularly in integration and deployment flows. You will develop, implement, and document configuration standards, policies and procedures for operating, managing and ensuring the security of all systems and network devices.

Key Responsibilities:
•Solid experience in setting up managing and maintaining Windows systems, experience on Linux appreciated
•Good to advanced familiarity with server software such as Active Directory and Exchange
•Hands-on Experience with setup & maintenance of physical and virtualized hosting environments
•Support of core network services, including knowledge from minimum of 2 from the following (DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP services)
•Hands-on Administration of Cloud Based Hosting Solutions Like Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure or AliBaba Cloud
•Experience creating and maintaining systems documentation
•Experience creating and presenting project handoff technical documentation
•Proficient in English

Skill Requirements:
•Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer science or Electronics or related areas – or equivalent experience
•Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Systems Administrator
•Windows/Linux Certifications or equivalent experience
•Firewalls / VPN knowledge
•Experience running medium scale Linux/UNIX production environments, preferably as part of an online service provider environment – e.g. mailing and proxy servers
•Windows Server e.g. Active Directory
•Experience in development, deployment, integration flows
•Good to advanced knowledge in high availability configurations
•Experience in cost estimations, project management, problem solving and leadership skills
•Familiarity with large scale infrastructure management, e.g. puppet
•Proactive in a fast-paced environment with excellent problem solving and organizational skills
•Strong interpersonal and intercultural skill.
•Nice to have AWS certificate
