- Oversee all facets of VLM.
- Take on tasks required of VLM to ensure that your team can succeed in meeting deadlines.
- Ensure the team provide timely and accurate information to their customers
- Coach and develop staff within your team
- Effectively understand the implications of financial and operational aspects of business to ensure optimum performance of the team
- Build the trust of your team and inspire teamwork
- Develop the performance of the team
- Create a team identity
- Manages relationship between the team and other functional units within the company
- Maintain excellent vendor relationships
- Build customer picture of Insight as the “premier provider” of VLM services
- Work with Sales Management to actively target and win new business
- Provide presentations to internal customers as required
- Continually monitor the efficiency of the Department and its personnel. Implement monitoring tools to assess performance
- Ensure skills transfer occurs among staff within Department
- Ensure all Departmental procedures are fully documented and updated
- Assist with all facets of VLM
- Deal with Microsoft contracts, rebate, incentive
- Keep relationship with Microsoft
- Lead the Microsoft Cloud Service Partner Program
