The candidate will be expected to act as a representative for FIC-ET QA working very closely with the development managers and key stakeholders in the technology organization to ensure the product deliverables meets the business needs. The candidate will be involved in defining and executing test strategies for products delivered by the ATS organization for the firm.

The key qualifications required include but not limited to:
• 2-8 year experience in Quality Assurance and test automation (2-4 years of development of server side automated testing solutions preferred)
• Technical experience in Python, PERL or related scripting language (knowledge with the FIX protocol preferred)
• Proficient knowledge of basic coding principles
• Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments
• A quick learner, being able to adapt to a fast paced heterogeneous environment and acquire necessary knowledge
• Knowledge of trading life cycle with exposure to trading and matching engines will be preferred
• Basic understanding of capital markets, electronic trading, order flow and execution, FIX protocol
• Detail oriented and be able to work in a fast paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication
