Senior Design Verification Engineer

Job Description
As a design validation engineer for product development activity, candidate will be required to have a high level understanding of assembly language firmware, standard computer interfaces such as USB, Bluetooth, wireless interfaces, software drivers and operating systems.
Applicant will be a member of the development team and will be responsible for creating design verification plans and schedules
Architecting new tests and techniques
Tracking tasks against deliverables and project milestones
Communicating product performance information to a broader cross-functional development team. Strong electrical engineering and data analysis skills will be required. Candidate should have good understanding of testing methodology of consumer electrical products.
Conduct design analysis and participate in design reviews related to design and performance matrix.
Candidate should be to translate customer needs and product performance to measurable test parameters in order to define design criteria for product development. Candidate should be able to define critical performance metrics, product manufacturing environment and statistical data analysis techniques to develop manufacturing test requirements and limits
Candidates should have excellent leadership skills, problem solving skills and a passion for developing world class products. Candidate should possess good communication and team leadership skills
Proven ability to work well with worldwide teams and across technical, business and marketing groups is required
Overall responsible for Coordinating Lab activities and resources.
Lead other DVE’s without direct supervision.

Requirements:
Must
oA BS or MS in Communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related degree with relevant experience.
o4 to 15 years of industry related experience including the product design or design verification of high volume MCU based consumer electronics area.
oSolid knowledge of theory and principles of electrical design and testing of MCU based consumer electrical products is a must.
oExcellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communications in English.
Plus
o4 or more years as lead or manager is a big plus.
oDirect working knowledge and experience of PC peripherals such as mouse, keyboard and other USB/Bluetooth interface products is a big plus.
oAbility to demonstrate a strong skill-set in analytical problem solving, a history of increasing responsibilities and decision-making experience.
oBe experienced to use Microsoft Office Software to do data analyzing / presentation
oBe familiar with VC++ / C# / Python.
