职责描述：
•Lead efforts in development of carpet tile backing systems and processes, to include new materials, recycled content and recyclability, and improved performance attributes
•Research and evaluate new raw or alternative materials for use in new or existing products
•Creative input to the design and experiment of new compounds, products, and processes
•Conduct analyses of research projects, interpret test results, or develop nonstandard tests
•Develop, improve, or customize products, equipment, formulas, processes, or analytical methods
•Develop and implement new product specifications and standard of practice for production processes and formulations
•Regular interaction with business and manufacturing teams, including providing technical support in product suitability and technical and certification advice
任职要求：
•Educated to degree level or above in chemistry or materials science, chemical/material engineering, or similar
•Experience with polymer chemistry, formulation and processing
•Proven track record of success developing products or processes
•Ability to carry out independent research
•Knowledge of manufacturing processes, scientific processes, and experimental design
•Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate technical topics to non- technical audience
•Proficient in written and verbal communication in both English and Mandarin
•Self-motivated with an ability to work cross functionally as a team player
•Deep understanding of chemical and physical interactions in material applications
•Good project management skills
•Agree and meet deadlines for multiple projects
•Report results in an appropriate and timely manner
•Work with other departments, such as production, purchasing and marketing, to ensure smooth running of development work through the plant and smooth adoption of new products
•Expected to work to agreed budgets for individual projects
