Job description:
Conduct, evaluate and negotiate supplier inquires.
Lead contract and price negotiations.
Involve strategic suppliers in the product design process.
Implement cost reduction projects.
Analyze procurement markets.
Select and develop strategic suppliers.
Cooperation with the product groups and supplier strategy.
Support supplier quality through supplier audits.
Close cooperation with the supplier quality, logistics, finance, and engineering teams.

Your credentials:
Successfully completed commercial or technical training with further training as an industrial specialist or economist (VWA) or a completed Business Studies degree (Bachelor) or another relevant study program.
Strong technical understanding with experience in the field of aluminium die-casting systems .
Experience in strategic purchasing.
Knowledge in purchasing laws as well as dealing with project and quality management.
Negotiation skills, willingness to perform, structured and efficient work, self-reliance, and willingness to travel.
Good computer skills(MS Office, SAP), as well as ability to work in a team.
Very good English language skills are required, German language would be beneficial.
