Mission
As a member of the international Sales and Client Management of the Applus IDIADA group, you will be in charge of developing our relationship with our clients in the automotive sector in China (vehicle and system / component manufacturers)
Responsibilities
- Keep and increase existing contacts within the Chinese automotive industry, aiming at detecting project opportunities and wih special emphasis on forging long-term trusting relationships.
- To make a market investigation, to canvass operations, to reply clients' requests for quotations, to push and follow-up of offers and to conduct project negotiations with the support of the sales team and the Product/ Project Managers from our headquarters.
- If required, to be involved in supporting the Project Management related to Chinese projects.
Profile
-Professional experience in a similar position within the automotive industry, with an extensive network in current and potential clients of IDIADA.
- With good knowledge of the vehicle development process, with the ability to technically understand the service requests of our clients.
- Good communication skills and confident in discussions at different hierarchical levels.
- With the ability to convince through technical arguments and to express to the client as well as to the candidate the points of common interest, focused to find the most suitable aspects for both sides.
- Goal driven, with successful sales personality and with strong customer and service orientation.
Education
- Engineering with Mechanical or Automotive specialization is our preference.
Languages
- Native Chinese (Mandarin).
- Very fluent English.
- Advanced level in any other foreign language is an asset, such as German, French, Italian, Korean etc.
- Other Chinese dialect, such as Cantonese will be an asset
