Senior Software Development Engineer in Test-Multi Media
Job Description
Amazon is an inventive research and development company that designs and engineers high-profile devices like the Kindle family of products. We have worked to produce best-selling tablets with breakthrough hardware technology as well as e-readers that have revolutionized reading. What will you help us create?

In this role, you will:
• Design and develop automation framework/tools for our Kindle Fire product line.
• Work with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative consumer products.
• Work closely with software engineers on technical issues while testing large-scale systems, driving processes to reduce test automation maintenance, as well as improving quality assurance processes.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field
• 7+ years of experience in software development and testing in Java, C++ or C#
• Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis
Preferred Qualifications
• Good understanding of Android Multimedia stack, great understand of openMAX and stage fright framework.
• Experience in using Awesome Player and NuPlayer APIs.
• Good understanding of online stream protocol like HLS and RTSP.
• Good understanding of Dolby decoding/encoding process.
• Good understanding of Video/audio encoding process.
• Good understanding of Android DRM and HDCP, experience in using PlayReady framework.
• Plus to have experience in Audioflinger and Surfaceflinger.
• Experience in coding with Java and C.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills
• Willing to learn and take challenge
