As a Senior Software Engineer you will lead the IoT Data Acquisition projects to serve a range of clients targeting manufacturing clients. You will be experienced in:
Software Engineering Principles
Design and document application and data flow (Using UML)
Demonstrable experience in SCADA, PLC, DCS. Familiarity with a variety of control software / hardware products i.e. Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, GE, ABB and other relevant products
Design, document, code, test and debug software

Requirements:
Hold tertiary qualifications in computer science or software engineering disciplines or whom has mechatronic engineering degree and demonstrated software development work experience after graduation.
You will have demonstrated experience developing software applications (both desktop and web) within a highly innovative and technical environment.
You will have demonstrated experience in design of SCADA architecture diagram, TCP/IP networking design, SCADA specifications, SCADA panels design, associated hardware and software interface designs. (Example: SCADA IO schedule, mapping schedule, communication design etc.)
You will have demonstrated experience in applications and programming using Process Automation Protocols such as PROFINET IO, Modbus and others. PLC Standard
Solid programming experience in C/C++ is mandatory .
Must have clear communication skills and the ability to articulate and solve problem.
Familiarity with software version control tools, defect tracking tools and release processes.
Prior experience in Linux based embedded (firmware) software development would be an advantage.
Experience applying AGILE software development methods will be highly desirable.
