Role description:
The First Line Specialist works within the Support and Service Monitoring organization carrying out technical and communication tasks. This is 24*7 support function and provides telematics tech-related service to our global customers. Besides, first line would also monitoring our important services that running in global market.

Personal skills needed (industry experience, international experience, software, material etc.) Competence Requirements:
•You have several years of experience in Linux systems
•Basic Knowledge in DB
•Knowledge in ITIL
•Experience with IT support and have understanding of SLA
•Very good English

Work description
Volvo Group Telematics (VGT) Service:
This role will belong to the Support and Service Monitoring organization which is delivering telematics services through application and infrastructure operation to a number of car brands. The Support and Service Monitoring organization team is represented at four sites (Gothenburg, Bangalore, US and Beijing). You will be part of a global organization that delivers Telematics solutions to our customers across 50+ countries. Important elements of the position are understanding operations in a Linux and Java based environment. Understanding of Telematics and communication over mobile networks is an advantage. We expect you to have the attitude “we are ready only when the customer is satisfied”.
