BARTEC GmbH was founded in Bad Mergentheim, in the north of Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany in 1975. Within 39 years, BARTEC has developed into one of the leader of the global engineering suppliers of safety technology. In July 2004 BARTEC GmbH 100% invested BARTEC Electric (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. which is based in Shanghai, and set up decentralized sales offices in Beijing, Guangzhou, Jinan and Xinjiang afterwards. In 2005 BARTEC GmbH and Shanxi Explosion-proof Motor (Group) Co., Ltd. jointly established BARTEC Electric (Shanxi) Co., Ltd which is focus on the production and sales of explosion-proof mining equipments.
